Poem a Day Challenge, Day 19
Today’s prompt from Poetic Asides was to write an angry poem. I worked all day on revisions that rotted my brain, so this really isn’t much more than a poem on frustration, more than it is an angry poem. And the night birds are singing outside, so it’s time for bed. So, here it is.
Angry poem
They’re just words
on the cyber page.
Not even really real words.
No intonation, no body language,
no personality.
Nothing.
No matter what I do, though, they sound
angry.
They feel
angry.
They make me
angry.
Time to take a break from the internet.
