		<description>It is!  I&#039;m sure it could be edited down some, but I just am too close to it now.

You know what&#039;s funny?  Is that a few months ago I finished a story that was originally 4000-5000 words, and after every critique and rejection I tweaked it a little here and there cuz I kept thinking I needed to clarify something or add a scene that would build the tension and eventually it was like 9000 words.  Then I sent it someplace and the editor said she would look at it if I could get it down to 4000 words. I got it down to 4350 words and it still go rejected.  I think it&#039;s back up to 5000 words now.  But the difference is that that one was unwieldy at 9000 words (I really am thankful to that editor for suggesting the cut, I think it really helped the story) and this one I just finished feels like most of those words really do need to be there.  Well, we&#039;ll see.
